Elle Fanning’s flawless style file

Elle Fanning may only be 18 years old, but her style suggests otherwise, flawless and fashionable she rarely gets it wrong when she’s gracing the red carpet or pictured in her everyday environment.

Her new film Ballerina is released early next week (December 19), so what better time to run through her princess-like style?

Ballerina is a computer-animated musical fantasy adventure, it tells the story of a girl (Fanning) with big dreams (but little talent) who travels all the way to Paris to attend dance school, and discovers it’s a whole lot hard that she thought it would be.

Though she’s up against some pretty fierce talent to be cast in the ballet, Félicie has something that the other girls don’t, a true love for dance.

She practices all over the streets of Paris, stumbling through her turns and leaps. However, it all takes a turn when she discovers that her love for dance is all she really needs to make it, and with that, she turns her passion into her reality.

Elle Fanning’s signature style

Elle, over the years, has become a true fashion darling. Not only has she modelled for mega brands, including Miu Miu and Marc by Marc Jacobs, but she rarely rests on her laurels when she’s heading to an event.

She takes risks on the red carpet and wears daring ensembles that she almost always manages to get right.

Whether she’s wearing a Chanel Couture dress or Oscar de la Renta pantsuit, she always manages to bring something new to the fashion table.

The actress’ look is definitively feminine, with many Peter Pan collars and pastels, but she always adds a few playful accents to keep the look youthful.
