The styler is super easy to turn on with only a single switch on the inside which lights up when pushed into position. The straighteners then helpfully beep when they’re ready, so you can avoid haphazardly holding them near your hand to guess the temperature.

A handy protective plate guard also allows you to pack up your styler straight after use while an automatic sleep mode is activated if the styler isn't used for 30 minutes. Universal voltage ensures you’ll get the same styling performance no matter where you are in the world, making this styler a great choice if you travel frequently.

How hot do ghd’s get?

How to curl your hair with ghd

ghd stylers are designed with a rounded housing to make it easier to curl your hair with the straighteners, another big benefit of the styler. So, here's our quick and simple guide of how you can curl your locks with your ghd styler.

Take a small lock of hair - the amount of hair you use will determine the size and type of curl: small sections will produce tighter ringlets, larger sections will result in a looser wave. Clamp down with straightener at the root, and rotate the iron 180 degrees, you can go either way depending on what time of curl you want. Turning the straighteners away from your face will create a more relaxed style, and turning the straightener to your face will result in more glamorous waves.

Once you've turned the straightener 180 degrees, you should now have a section of the hair wrapped around the barrel of the iron, slowly and gently pull the ghd down the length of the hair until you reach the end. The slower you the straightener down the hair, the better the results will be.
