High street beauty brands continually impress us with their new launches of affordable and hard-working products; the latest launch from L’Oreal is just one of them. We can barely get enough of the L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox mask, and we think you’re going to love it too.

L’Oreal Paris has recently launched their line of three clay masks, each designed to target specific problems we face when it comes to our skin: shine, congestion and dullness. We tried out the detox mask which claims to detoxify and clarify the skin.

L’Oreal says that this mask is designed to deeply cleanse the pores, so you're left with skin that's clear and clarified. Pesky spots no more.

Skin-loving ingredients

This particular detox mask includes charcoal, a key ingredient to draw out the dirt in the skin. Charcoal has huge beauty benefits because it draws out oil and dirt from clogged pores because of its absorption powers, when you use this mask you can literally see it as the mask dries. A little gross, but also somewhat satisfying too.

Not only does the Detox mask have Charcoal, but it's also blended with three pure clays, which can be found in all three of the L’Oreal Pure Clay masks.

These three clays are Kaolin, Montmorillonite and Ghassoul. Each of these clays have their own benefits for the skin, such as absorbing excess sebum, eliminating imperfections and clarifying the complexion too.

The creamy mask is a dream to apply to the skin, is soothing and leaves your skin feeling clean, velvety and rebalanced. It has a creamy texture that cleanses the skin’s surface to leave it clarified without dryness. It’s hard to come by a mud mask that leaves skin feeling tight afterwards, but this honestly doesn’t. Skin feels refreshed and super clean.

It comes with the Purity mask, the Glow Mask and the Detox mask.
