Denise Rabor

International makeup artist and founder of WOW Beauty Denise Rabor, shares three products she can’t be without in her kit.

Twistick by Lord & Berry: This is one of my favourite products and is always included in my kit bag. This unique, product is a 3-in-1, with a gloss, lipstick and balm in one, which comes in a selection of shades. It leaves your lips moisturised, is free from parabens, and you can apply it easily and on-the-go too.

Deluxe Professional Tweezers by HiBrow: An essential in every makeup artists kit, HiBrows Deluxe Professional Tweezers have a precision slant tip for accurate hair removal and they are always useful for the handling of false eye lashes application.

Palmer’s Shea Butter Formula Moisturising Lotion: My final product must-have is a moisturiser. Made with natural Shea Butter and Marula this product improves elasticity for a radiant glow and balances skin tone and texture. It gives skin the 24hour moisture it needs and soothes and calms irritation.

Ariane Poole

Celebrity makeup artist Ariane Poole pampers the daces of celebrities across the globe, such as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Penelope Cruz, Yasmin Le Bon, Elizabeth Hurley, Bianca Jagger and Twiggy to name a few. She’s recently launched her own range, called Ariane Poole* Cosmetics and here are the must-haves for her.

Ariane Poole* Cosmetics Ultimate Face Tint: This product gives skin a gorgeous finish, and has that ‘barely’ there makeup look. It’s perfect for all age groups and skin types and lasts throughout the day. It also has the perfect finish for photos.

Ariane Poole* Cosmetics Concealer Palette: My ultimate ‘must-have’ is perfect for redness and pigmentation and is completely versatile. It has three different shades which can be mixed to work with any skin type and colour.

Ariane Poole* Cosmetics Mineral Illuminating Pen: This is my magic wand; it reduces bags under the eyes, lifts the face and smoothes the eyes with a naturally flawless look.

Tanya Marie

Makeup artist Tanya Marie shares her three makeup must-haves.

Illamasqua Translucent Setting Powder: This translucent powder is essential for setting any look. It’s soft and light texture locks the look into place, reduces fine lines and pores and eliminates shine. The powder sets invisibly which means I can apply this onto any skin tone for a flawless matte finish.

Makeup Brush Cleaner: Makeup brushes collect dirt, oil and bacteria so it’s essential I maintain the quality and cleanliness of them. IPA Alcohol is a highly effective solution that thoroughly sterilizes the brushes and dries instantly, perfect for when I’m working on clients one after another.

Never apply the product directly onto the brush, pour the product into a spray pump and spray onto tissue or kitchen towel and work the brush into the product using circular motions.

C.A.K.E Cosmetics Lucky Blusher: C.A.K.E Cosmetics ‘Lucky’ Blusher defines cheekbones and gives my clients that healthy glow. The product is super soft, highly pigmented and the colour is so versatile, it offers a beautiful radiant finish on all skin complexions.
