Rimmels Brand New Foundation Fresher Skin Reviewed TheFuss.co.ukWho doesn’t want to perfect that no-makeup makeup look? With the Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation, it’s made a little easier.

An extremely lightweight foundation, this product offers light and breathable coverage and leaves skin even but natural-looking.

The finish is extremely natural, and it stays shine free all day, although ladies with an oily T-Zone might need a little pat of powder after a few hours wear.

The formula of the Rimmel Fresher Skin foundation is designed with mineral powders. These are includes to attract excess oil and help prevent shine. So it's a perfect choice for those with oily or combination skin types.

Another highlight of the formula is the addition of extracts including Chamomile, Aloe and Sea Algae, as together they work to lessen the look of redness and promote a healthy, even and natural-looking skin tone.

Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation Consistency TheFuss.co.ukThe consistency is light, it almost feels mousse-like but applies like a liquid foundation. It feels thicker than other Rimmel foundations we’ve tried but feels a lot lighter when its applied to the skin. The coverage is light to medium, but it builds well, lasts throughout the day and wears beautifully too. Strangely, it also feels cooling on the skin as it’s applied, which is really nice and refreshing – not sure if this is something to do with the Aloe in the formula.

This foundation feels light and refreshing like a BB Cream, but it has a whole lot more coverage than any other BB cream we’ve tried. There’s also SPF15 in the formula.

Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation Shade Range

Like a lot of Rimmel Foundation this particular product only comes in six shades. The Fresher Skin foundation shades are: Light Porcelain, Ivory, True Ivory, Soft Beige, Classic Beige and Natural Beige.

Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation Pot TheFuss.co.ukPros

Lightweight, breathable, natural looking coverage, shine free, lasts really well, SPF15

Cons

Shame it isn’t in a pump bottle like other Rimmel foundations, limited shade range

Bottom Line

A beautiful foundation from Rimmel, Fresher Skin is natural and lightweight. It feels beautiful on the skin, doesn’t clog pores and provides a natural finish that wears beautifully throughout the day. The packaging is what lets this product down. It’d be so much better in a bottle. The little pot can get messy, plus we don’t like the idea of sticking our fingers or brush in to get the foundation out to apply. Let’s be honest they’re never going to be as clean/bacteria-free as they need to be.
