Kim Kardashian – Fashion Icon

Kim Kardashian is probably one of the most famous it girls in the world and has a great influence on young women. She has perfectly mastered the media and social media game. She is a reality TV star, selfie queen and can even influence the fashion market and beyond.

On average, she earns 10,000 to 25,000 dollars in a month but she has even more to offer. In May 2015, she published a book called "Selfish". It contains 325 pages full of Selfies by Kim Kardashian. She also has her own Emojis, which is available under the name "Kimoji", which has been available since December 2015 in the Apple Store. She also has her own smartphone game which is called Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.

Cathy “Cat” Hulbert- Best Female Gambler on Earth

Blackjack has long been dominated by the male of the species but that hasn’t stopped some women playing the game nor has it stopped them competing at a professional level. One such woman is Cathy “Cat” Hulbert and she has made an indelible impact in professional poker as well as professional blackjack. Her success has led many, including the BBC, to name her “the best female gambler on earth".

Cathy played card games in college where she began to build her skills as a card player, skills which she used to earn money to pay her way through college. After graduating, she began work for the New York State Senate editing the fiscal report. She later switched assignment with her former roommate to work in the press office.

Having decided that this job was not for her, she moved to Las Vegas with her life savings of $1,600 to pursue her dream of professional gambling. Cathy got a job dealing blackjack, where a chance encounter with another player changed her life. She noticed that a fellow player was really successful and decided to ask him for help building up her blackjack skills. This was her introduction to professional blackjack and the team known as “The Czechs”. She joined the team and became very successful. She is currently known to reside in California and teaches gambling classes for women. She is truly an inspiration for any woman wishing to enter the world of professional gambling or any other male-dominated career.

Angelina Jolie – Femme Fatale from Hollywood

There are women who seem to epitomise the perfect woman. Angelina Jolie is such a woman.

Who else could have played Lara Croft, the heroine from the computer game Tomb Raider more convincingly in the film? Oscar winner Angelina Jolie captivates on the screen with her not only acting skills but also with her luscious, a mane of beautiful hair and sexy curves.

In a very personal guest contribution to the New York Times, Angelina wrote about the death of her mother Marcheline due to cancer, her reasons for the invasive and the complex procedure were because she wanted to "encourage other women" and raise awareness of the dangers of breast cancer - a disease that almost 500,000 women die from every year.

In 2016 Angelina Jolie even went to Greece as a special ambassador to the UN refugee agency UNHCR, to get a picture of the situation of the refugees in the country. This is what makes Angelina not only beautiful on the outside, but obviously on the inside too.

Leah Del Castillo- The Tactical Unicorn

Sports are still largely dominated by men but women such as Leah Del Castillo are leaving their mark on traditional sports and in Leah’s case, a relatively new sport that is growing in popularity worldwide: airsoft. As a sport, airsoft is played in a similar way to paintball but instead of using paintballs, players shoot each other with 6mm plastic balls (bbs) from realistic imitation firearms. The game relies on an honour system where players declare when they have been hit. It has been described as being able to play “real life video games”. Leah has become an advocate for bringing girl power to the world of airsoft.

On her YouTube channel and elsewhere online and offline, Leah promotes airsoft to women and men, but most importantly focuses on women's participation in airsoft. Leah has inspired many women to join the airsoft community and make the step from video gaming to the airsoft field.
