Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask review TheFuss.co.ukThe Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask is a concentrated clay and botanical mask you need to add to your beauty mask collection to ensure your skin is clear, balanced and calm.

It draws out impurities from the skin, banishes oil and balances out the skin, leaving it feeling toned but not too tight.

The texture of the mask isn’t too thick like many clay masks, and surprisingly feels lights and fresh on the skin. Deep cleansing treatments can feel quite aggressive, but the addition of Manuka Honey and Aloe Vera to the ingredients keeps the formula of this mask cool and soothing.

The colour and smell can be off putting to some people but it really helps to soak up excess oil and pores always look more refined and skin more even after using this.

The mask comes complete with two small facial sponges which are absolutely perfect for removing it - the exact texture you need to remove a dried clay mask. On removal skin feels soft, matte and refreshed.

Presented in a zip-up kit bag, the set contains:

  • Deep Cleansing Mask™ (75ml)
  • 2 sponges

Bottom line

The Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask is a favourite amongst our face masks for when skin is feeling a little congested. It helps clear out the skin whilst protecting and soothing too – it’s definitely not harsh on the skin, even though it’s advised that those with sensitive skin don’t use the mask. We love it as an all over face mask, but also as part of our multi-masking trend, targeting specific areas of the skin.

If you suffer from problem skin, it’s definitely one to keep in your rotation.

How to use the Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask

Apply after cleansing, smoothing a generous layer of the mask over face and neck, avoiding eyes, lips and hairline. Leave on for 5-10 minutes.

Wipe away residue with thoroughly rinsed sponges. Splash face with cool water. Use 2-3 times a week, either as an all-over face treatment, or to target specific areas of concern.
