L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox Wash review TheFuss.co.ukEnsure your skin is left clean and fresh every day with the L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox Wash, the gel-like texture helps remove impurities so skin is left clearer and detoxified.

The L’Oreal Clay Masks proved a huge hit, we definitely love them, and now they’ve expanded the range into Pure Clay Detox Washes.

The cleansers are perfect for everyday use, and work in the same way as the masks, one to detox, one to purify and one to exfoliate.

Ingredients to benefit the skin

Like the Clay Masks from the brand, they contain skin-benefiting ingredients to help target different skin problems we might have. The Detox wash contains charcoal which helps to draw impurities and dirt out of the skin, so you're left with clear and clarified skin.

There's also the added benefit of the three clays, which are included in each of the Clay Face washes, these are, Kaolin, Montmorillonite and Ghassoul. These are there to absorb impurities, eliminate imperfections and clarify the complexion.

Plus points

Easy to work into the skin, doesn’t leave skin feeling dry or tight, helps to clear skin, skin feels fresh, it doesn’t foam up, affordable, comparable to the Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser

Downsides

We wouldn’t suggest this as a makeup remover, more of a second cleanse or morning cleanse product. It is quite runny, so be careful the first time you use it otherwise you'll end up with too much product, and probably make a mess.

Does your skincare routine need this face wash?

The L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox Wash is definitely a product to add to your cleansing routine, we wouldn’t suggest using this as your makeup remover step, but it’s perfect for a second cleanse or morning cleanse to ensure skin is left feeling clean and clear.

The texture is really easy to work into the skin, it’s a lot thinner than we were expecting from a clay wash, and comparing it to the Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser, but it feels light and refreshing on the skin.

It barely foams up, which we love, and after clearing this from the skin, you’re left with a refreshed feeling that doesn’t feel tight at all.

Over a few weeks, you’ll notice that skin looks clearer than ever before thanks to the skin-loving ingredients which help to capture impurities, including excess oil and make-up residue.

L’Oreal Pure Clay Purity Wash

The L’Oreal Purity Wash is designed with the three clays mentioned above, alongside Eucalyptus extract. This wash is targeted at those with oily skin, as the Eucalyptus helps to remove shine and excess oil from the skin. This wash smells incredible and really clean too.

L’Oreal Pure Clay Glow Scrub

Again, the L’Oreal Pure Clay Glow Scrub has the three clays mentioned above in the ingredients, as well as Red Algae extract. This wash is a little different as it contains micro-beads to help exfoliate impurities and dead skin cells, leaving you with skin that’s smoother and brighter. We wouldn’t suggest using this every day, but it’s definitely something you could add into your beauty routine once or twice a week to reveal a brighter complexion.
