L’Oreal Studio Secrets Primer Review TheFuss.co.ukPrimers are the ultimate beauty must-have for creating a flawless finish to your makeup, even when your skin isn’t looking its best. The L’Oreal Studio Secrets Primer is definitely a tub to add to your routine because it helps create a perfectly smooth evened base.

The primer helps to smooth every out, even wrinkles, so you're left with a flawless base that guarantees excellent makeup application.

Skin feels soft to touch as though it has been resurfaced.

The primer works thanks to its high elastomer content, that has a smooth texture is incredibly effective at disguising wrinkles and pores. The combination of soft, light powders gives the complexion a matte look with a silky finish. All in all, it’s the perfect base for your makeup.

The texture and effect

It has a whipped, silicone consistency that is something similar to a mousse, and as much as we love the product, we hate that it comes in a glass tub that we have to stick our fingers into. Tubes and pumps are much preferred when it comes to any makeup and beauty products.

When applying the product, it’s best to warm the formula in between your fingers first to avoid the primer from balling up, you can then pat the product on the skin where you need it. It’s a great product to be used around the lips to stop lipstick from bleeding too, perfect if you don’t have a lip liner to hand.

L’Oreal Studio Secrets Primer Review TheFuss.co.ukThe primer can also be worn alone as it helps to smooth out the appearance of pores and lines. It helps to create a flawless finish to your look, smoothing out the skin without the need for makeup in some instances.

Foundations of all types smooth on nicely over top, and those with oilier skin will appreciate that the absorbents in this primer help to control oil throughout the day

Pros

Smoothes skin, provides a soft base for foundation

Cons

Doesn’t necessarily make foundation last longer, but certainly, creates a flawless base for you to work with

Bottom line

Worn alone or under your foundation, the L’Oreal Studio Secrets Primer gives the skin a smoother, more even appearance. The mousse-like texture feels velvety soft on the skin, the biggest downfall for this product is the jar it's housed in, not only is it less hygienic, but the small jar means it’s difficult to get the right amount of product out, a squeezy tube packaging would have been much more preferred.

The product has actually be discontinued by L’Oreal, but you can still get your hands on it from Amazon and Very.
