A flawless complexion the goal most days, and thanks to Nars Sheer Glow Foundation we can pretty much guarantee that with a bit of buffing it’s easy to achieve.
Glowing, natural-looking skin that has a radiant finish is what you’ll achieve with Sheer Glow, and it looks just as good if you work it in with your fingers or your foundation brush.
The great thing about this foundation though is not that it immaculately evens skin tone, but it’s replete with skincare benefits and the Nars Complexion brightening formula. It leaves your skin hydrated, more luminous, softer and smoother. And over time, the foundation helps to improve the skin’s brightness and texture.
It also has an excellent and extensive range of shades. Whether your skin is porcelain, ebony or somewhere in between, you’re likely to find a perfect match for your skin.
The coverage airs less on the side of sheer like the name suggests, it sits in the light to medium range, but it’s definitely a beautifully buildable foundation that doesn’t look cakey at all. Sheer Glow Foundation suits many different types of skin as well, with hydrating properties for those with dry skin, but it also works well on normal and oily skin too.

Nars Sheer Glow Lasting Power
The Nars Sheer Glow foundation is aimed at normal to dry skin, and it has a very light texture. Despite its light texture, it lasts really well on the skin, generally lasting around 8 hours before it shows signs of fading. Those with oilier skin types might find they're better suited to the Nars Sheer Matte Foundation, though.
Pros
Excellent coverage, natural finish, lasts really well on the skin, doesn't clog the skin, has small amount of antioxidants, skincare benefits, hydrating
Cons
It doesn't come with a pump, you have to buy that separately.
Bottom line
Nars Sheer Glow foundation is the perfect product for natural daytime makeup. The silky formula provides translucent coverage that evens out skin tone without looking caked on.
With a wide shade range and a long-lasting formula, we find it hard to believe that you couldn’t fall in love with the Sheer Glow Foundation.
The biggest downside is the packaging, the rubber lid is going to get grubby there’s no denying that, and the fact that it doesn’t come with a pump is annoying. But definitely buy one, you’ll waste so much product if you don’t. Once you get past these bugbears, though, you’ll love the fresh, dewy base you can achieve with this beautiful foundation.
