Best movie stunts of all time

Ben-Hur

The iconic chariot-race sequence in William Wyler’s epic certainly took plenty of effort, with 82 horses, more than 1,500 extras.

The scene took five weeks to shoot, destroyed two cameras and even injured the stunt double for Charlton Heston.

The incredible scene was shot from a car, in order to avoid a pile-up.
