Can a relationship bucket list like Beyonce and Jay Z improve your love life?

Relationships take work and effort, if you leave things to run, the chances are they’re going to stagnate and wilt, so could a bucket list be the way to reignite the flame?

Beyonce and Jay Z happen to think so.

The celebrity couple were plagued with relationship rumours in 2014 especially when the video of THAT elevator drama was unveiled after the Met Ball, but they have continued to put on a united front and deny that they are splitting up.

The pair are said to have come up with a ‘bucket list’ for their relationship in a bid to stop prioritising their career, with plans to have flying lessons, go bungee jumping in New Zealand and trek the Inca Trail.

A source revealed to Grazia magazine that they had neglected their personal lives because they've both been working so hard. As a result of this, their marriage took a beating.

So they drew up a list of things they'd like to do together, to help balance out their work-life schedules and put a stop to recording and touring constantly.

During Christmas, the couple and their daughter Blue Ivy took some time as a family and visited Iceland, Thailand and Cambodia. They're making it a goal to travel together for pleasure, which we suppose is easy to do when you have limitless supplies of money.

Apparently, they've drawn up a long list of the places they want to go together, as well as goals for the next 12 months.

They want to keep things fresh and exciting by doing things they've never done before together.

Of course it’s important to make an effort in your relationship, and whilst you may not be able to afford, or take the time off work to travel the world with your other half, drawing up a bucket list of the things that you’d like to accomplish together in 2015 could put you both on the same page when it comes to your relationship and give you both something to work towards.

Making a plan for 2015 will give you both something to work for

Whether you make a plan to have one evening a week where you switch off your phones, make a plan to have a date night at least once a month, or arrange some trips (staycations or abroad) you’d like to take together, it gives you something to look forward to in 2015.

And, seeing as today is classed as Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year, make your plans today and put a smile on both of your faces.
