The brand has expanded with a landmark OXO restaurant on London’s Southbank, there’s a standout online store, and franchise stores across the globe. There is a store in Al-Faysaliyah in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, one in Istanbul’s Kanyon Shopping Mall, two stores – The Landmark and Pacific Palace and a Beauty Bazaar in Hong Kong. There’s also a store in Dubai, designed by architecture firm Callison in the Mall of the Emirates, and a store in Kuwait which opened in 2012.
Harvey Nichols has developed their stores to include restaurants, bars cafes, nail bars, hair salons and more. The former marketing director Shadi Halliwell discussed the reasons why they wanted to change up the layout of the stores. She explained that they want customers to come in to find an outfit, and then have the opportunity to have a quick blow-dry, get their makeup done. The idea behind this was so that customers not only leave with a new outfit, but a pair of shoes, a great hairdo, fantastic makeup and a huge smile on their faces.
