Red carpet events are no longer a time for swishing gowns and mini dresses to flaunt those pins, it’s all about jumpsuits and trousers as shown this week.
Celebrities descended on LA for the iHeartRadio Music Awards and rather than chose full-on glamour they opted for style and comfort – a look we can definitely get on board with.
Shunning dresses and skirts in favour of trousers and jumpsuits was Iggy Azalea, Kat Graham, Zendaya Coleman, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift – and they all looked stylish doing so.
Kat Graham looked beautiful in an on-trend off-the-shoulder top from Proenza Schouler, which she paired with a pair of black wide-legged trousers – an on-trend look perfect for summer.
Demi Lovato also chose a monochrome look, hers from Alexander McQueen. We love this edgy look from the singer, pairing the structured jumpsuit with a dark matte lip and slicked back hair.

Zendaya Coleman loves to switch up her style, and she’s fast becoming our favourite starlet on the red carpet, you never know what kind of look you’re going to get from her. Her red carpet outfit at the iHeartRadio Music Awards turned heads for all the right reasons, and it wasn’t just her eye-catching red velvet suit. She offered up yet another new hairstyle, this time a sleek blunt bob.
The hairstyle was the perfect look to go with her dark vampy make-up and tuxedo suit, which she left open to reveal her tiny leather bralet. Girl was working it on all kinds of levels – we can’t wait to see what more she has to offer on the red carpet.

Iggy Azalea’s look wasn’t particularly our favourite, maybe because it hid her gorgeous figure rather than highlighted it. The wide-leg trousers swallowed her frame, but the belted detail did stop it from looking ridiculous, we love the colour too.

Selena Gomez was our favourite at the event wearing a bright orange jumpsuit by Mugler, the stomach-baring slashes only played up the sex appeal of this look, and the metallic heels from Giuseppe Zanotti were the perfect accompaniment for the look. The straight leg jumpsuit and sleeveless style is super flattering and is the perfect way to mix it up on the red carpet. The choker necklace was ideal to give the look a major 90s vibe too.
Bravo Selena, you killed it in this look.

Selena’s BFF Taylor Swift also opted for a jumpsuit on the red carpet, wearing an edgy Saint Laurent jumpsuit – anyone else think she’s channelling a glam version of Catwoman? And killing it of course.
The black booties weren’t right for this look, far too heavy, a strappy sandal would have fared much better. But we do love the dark nail varnish and her dishevelled hairstyle.
We love it when Taylor mixes up her style and changes it from her usual feminine and flirty style, she completely owns this style.
