Be-Jeweled – This is a fine lavender glitter, with slightly chunkier glitter that’s rose pink, although at some angles can look holographic. Looks great with two coats without a base colour.

Cha-Ching – This is a small bright red glitter, that comes with larger round silver glitter too. A very densely packed formula that doesn’t particularly need a base colour with two coats of the glitter.

Showgirl Chic – A beautiful formula that gives plenty of bling to the nails. It’s made up of a fine silver glitter that comes with sparkly chunky blue glitter.

Sally Hansen Gem Crush Review TheFuss.co.ukRazzle Dazzler - Contains fine pink glitter and chunky silver glitter. This shade has very good coverage.

Lady Luck – A small dark fuchsia glitter with a larger round hologram glitter. Completely gorgeous.

Blingtastic – This one sticks out a little as being too watery, and you’ll definitely need a colour base coat underneath. It’s nowhere near as nice as the other offerings, but the aqua blue glitter and larger silver hexagon glitter is still pretty enough. Definitely use this one as a top coat rather than on its own.

Big Money – A taupeish-gold glitter mixed with the chunky lavender glitter. It's a striking combination for.

Glitz Gal – Small dark grey and silver glitter with larger round hologram glitter. This is definitely a shade you’ll find dupes of, but it still looks amazing on the nails.

Pros

Great value for money, beautiful selection of colours, pigmented, great formula, easy to use

Sally Hansen Gem Crush Review TheFuss.co.ukCons

Like all glitter varnishes, they take a lot of effort to remove, but we think they're completely worth it

Bottom Line

There are some really beautiful glitter combinations available with the Sally Hansen Gem Crush collection. The formula of the nail varnishes is thin, fairly smooth and not too difficult to apply. What's more, the glitter applies evenly over the nail so you don’t need to focus on applying to specific areas of the nail.

Typically you can apply these shades without a coloured varnish underneath, but with some of the sheerer shades, like Blingtastic, you might want a colour underneath as it has a little less coverage compared to the other shades.

The final texture might be a little too gritty for some, but it’s nothing that a gel top coat can’t fix to have a smooth finish. Just expect a little more effort as you remove the varnish.

All in all a gorgeous range of shades of glitters that are perfect to give your nails a dazzling effect.
