Lily James has embodied the perfect princess whilst promoting the live action Cinderella which is released this week, and we think she’s showcased plenty of looks that prove her a must-watch when it comes to style.

While we can’t imagine ever wearing our own Elie Saab Couture gown, we can certainly draw inspiration from her fairytale looks when we’re going to events this summer, the new ASOS Occasion Wear hub is definitely enabling this too.

Through the promo tour of Cinderella, Lily has pulled out countless flawless looks; these are some of our favourites.

Back in February at the Berlin Film Festival, Lily chose an intricate Mary Katrantzou Spring 2015 look for the photo call. The delicate baby blue design was given a dynamic and semi-revealing punch with peek-a-boo sheer embroidery of floral shapes interspersed with iguana-like creates and a black abstract ruffle hemline. This look was the perfect starting point with strong directional flair.

For the premiere, she switched things up and chose a princess-like gown from Christian Dior. It was an enchanting moment in a subtly shimmering ballet-pink silk gown with pleated detailing and tonal waistband for shaping.

The minimalist simplicity of the dainty De Beers jewels provided a graceful touch of sparkle to the look. She paired the gown with Jimmy Choo Cinderella shows commissioned especially for the occasion; encrusted with hundred of crystals they’re perfect for a princess.

She continued the gorgeous Princess theme at the LA premiere of the film wearing Elie Saab Couture, showing exactly why he is hailed as the red carpet king. Her Fall 2014 Couture gown was aqua green, the perfect complement to Cinderella’s blue gown, with embroidered detailing. Lily oozed elegance with a swept back do and flawless make-up.

Lily’s accessories ensured she was the perfect princess, with a pair of Christian Louboutin specially designed Cinderella Heels and a Charlotte Olympia Clutch that resembles a clock, she, of course, can't miss her midnight deadline.

She once again wore Elie Saab, this time in off-white, which she paired with glossy waves and a red lip. The voluminous full skirt with intricate beaded detailing exudes the elegance the designer is renowned for.

Sleek and sophisticated

Lily chose a more streamlined look in London

The Downton Abbey actress switched things up for the London premiere, wearing a more streamlined look in Balenciaga. The custom shimmering silver gown was inspired by the Pre-Fall 2015 collection; an architectural piece that perfectly sculpts and contours. It was an excellent change of pace from Lily and the look is imbued with plenty of high fashion allure.

We love Lily's bold look

We also love the ladylike look she channelled for the Cinderella Exhibition photo call. The gingham blouse and striped skirt from the Altuzarra spring 2015 collection was a strike and fresh combination we’ll certainly be embodying this summer.

And the final look we know we’ll definitely be imitating is a simple embellished neckline top that is easy fashion at its best. We love how you can throw these tops on and look instantly polished thanks to the embellishment.
